The Occasional Gardener - sunflowers

My current herb garden has passed its prime, but my sunflowers have finally bloomed! They're so pretty I just had to share these photos.

The bees love them!

How beautiful, Kelly! Do you do anything with the sunflower seeds? This reminds me of Colorado. Fields and fields of sunflowers, their cheery yellow heads following the sun throughout the day.

Hi Venitha, since this is my first "crop" of sunflowers, I'm not sure what I'll do with the seeds. I think I'll scatter them around and see if more plants pop up! And I might eat a couple to see if they're nice :)
